Our Fleet
We have a young, well-maintained fleet of vehicles to help us achieve our mission. All our vehicles are kitted with the latest kit including audio and visual warning systems, MDT’s, nationwide communications, priority roadside assistance and full telematics including GPS tracking.

We have extensive Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, Employers Liability and Medical Malpractice insurance in addition to emergency blue light (including 999 and airside).
Worldwide Communications
A B Medical Services (UK) Ltd have teamed up with Broadnet Systems to handle our Ambulance and Medical Services communication needs. This now means that our staff have global communications, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and incident management systems available go them at the touch of a button. Our 4G / LTE units are GPS tracked for added security and increased resource management. Having an emergency call feature also allows our staff to alert the control centre to any incident that may require additional resources or our Police colleagues.

Accreditations
The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator of health and social care services in England. The CQC make sure that the care people receive meets essential standards of quality and safety, and they encourage ongoing improvements by those who provide or commission care. The CQC is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department of Health and Social Care.
In relation to Event Medical Providers, under the Health and Social Care Act 2008, any company providing anything more than a basic first aider or any provider that offers transport, uses ambulances/response cars or administers drugs or utilises healthcare professionals in the course of their duties, must be registered. If the providers are not registered, they are operating illegally.
A B Medical Services (UK) Limited are Care Quality Commission, Ofcom, NHS Digital, Prompt Payment Code, ICO, 1St Option Safety and AoFA registered and only use Paramedics that are HCPC registered, Nurses that are NMC registered and Doctors that are GMC registered.
Organisers of care should always insist on viewing CQC registration certificates and insurance documents to ensure that providers are operating legally. Any reputable company will provide these on request and Organisers should vet all companies to ensure they are registered and using bona fide staff.
The CQC holds and updates a list of approved and registered providers that can be searched on their website (https://www.cqc.org.uk).

I needed help for a friend who had to be brought by ambulance from France to the UK. From the very first call to Ashton I felt we were in safe hands. Whilst I had struggled dealing with everything when in different countries to my friend, Ashton made a stressful situation stress-free! The transfer went smoothly and I was kept up to date along the journey. The patient has advised that his travel was comfortable and that he would recommend the company without hesitation
We had spoken to Ashton about transferring my 100 year old Mum from Hospital in Scotland to a nursing home in near St Albans. We could not confirm date however of discharge was confirmed at 4:30 pm for the following morning.Ashton went above and beyond to find a crew and ambulance for the next morning. The crew arrived on time and Jay and Kieran the crew were fantastic with Mum kept her entertained and comfortable and arrived at the new home well on time. I highly recommend AB Medical for this service.

A B Medical services took my frail elderly mother up to the funeral of her daughter, not a fun day out. They were kind, considerate and gentle, consummately professional and efficient. Not having to worry about mama’s safety and wellbeing was a huge comfort for everyone. I cannot praise them highly enough.
I booked AB Medical to transport my housebound and very immobile Father to a day procedure hospital appointment. The team who arrived were wonderful (Benn and Debs) They made my father comfortable, chatting with him in the back of the ambulance and made his journey an enjoyable outing. When we arrived at the hospital, I did not expect the team to help me to the 8th Floor. The department is difficult to find, two sets of lifts were out of service, but the Team were in no hurry to leave, but to ensure my father arrived safely to his ward. On arrival, the hospital bed had a folded linen and not made up. Benn and Debs made themselves busy with making up the bed for my father, even a ‘turn down service’ of the corners of the sheets. As usual with appointments, they never run to time. I stayed in contact with Benn as we were now 1.5 hours after the scheduled collection. That was no problem for the team. They had a long drive home, but were only caring, and wanting to help. ‘All in a 12-hour day’s shift’ apparently. This service is great. Well organised, professional and the best team.
