We are pleased to offer rapid COVID 19 (SARS-Cov2) antigen testing which involves a nasal sample being taken and the results professionally interpreted. We are registered with the Department for Health and Social Care in the UK.

How long does it take?

Our rapid COVID 19 Testing service gives results in as little as 15 minutes. Our tests are processed on-location reducing waiting times and reducing isolation times.

What do I receive?

One of our Healthcare Professionals will attend your site to test clients, staff or customers. A test report / certificate will be provided for your records. Please note that all results will be submitted to the NHS / PHE.

How accurate are the tests?

The SARS-CoV-2 Rapid Antigen Test is for use in point of care settings for both symptomatic and asymptomatic people. This can help identify a SARS-CoV-2 infection in people suspected to carry the virus with results typically ready in 15 minutes. In addition, it serves as a valuable initial screening test for individuals that have been exposed to SARS-CoV-2 infected patients or a high-risk environment.

The test has a sensitivity of 96.52% and a specificity of 99.68%.

What are the symptoms of COVID 19 ?

COVID 19 is a highly infectious disease that transmits between people very easily which has a wide range of symptoms.

The main symptoms of coronavirus are:

  • A high temperature– this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • A new, continuous cough– this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  • A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste– this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

However, the following Covid 19 symptoms may also be present

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhoea

Some patients may be contagious with coronavirus and have no symptoms at all. Therefore, testing is essential to identify those who may be infectious / contagious.
