About Us – A B Medical Services (UK) Ltd
Your fully comprehensive medical services provider
A B Medical Services (UK) Limited is a Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered provider of professional pre-hospital care, event medical cover, first aid, ambulance services, and medical repatriation and escort services. Established in 2010, we bring extensive clinical and operational experience to every assignment, delivering care through experienced, professional and motivated staff at competitive rates.
We support clients across London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex and the South East, with national coverage available. Our experience spans high-risk events, festivals, film and television productions, corporate functions and cycling events. From first aid provision to advanced clinical support, we tailor our medical cover to the setting and level of risk. We also offer urgent care and out-of-hours services.
Our medical repatriation and escort services help patients travel safely within the UK and worldwide. Whether returning home following illness or injury abroad, travelling between healthcare facilities or requiring clinical support during a journey, we provide coordinated bed-to-bed transfers and professional medical escorts, with care tailored to each patient’s needs.
Why choose us? Technology that supports better care
At A B Medical Services, we invest in clinical equipment and digital systems that help our teams deliver safe, coordinated and effective care. Our equipment includes LIFEPAK 15 patient monitors and defibrillators, EZ-IO intraosseous access devices and LUCAS mechanical CPR devices, supporting advanced assessment and treatment when needed.
Our teams and vehicles use GPS-enabled radio communications, helping us maintain contact, monitor locations and coordinate resources. Our digital dispatch system gives controllers oversight of team deployment and availability, helping us direct the appropriate medical support to where it is needed.
Electronic patient records support clear clinical documentation and continuity of care while reducing our reliance on paper. Real-time operational information, including patient activity statistics and resource availability, helps event organisers and controllers make informed decisions, with patient confidentiality maintained.
Together, these systems support responsive medical cover, effective communication and a clear record of the care we provide.

Our Managing Director had this to say:
“Over the past few years, I have grown the company with a commitment to our vision and values, this has seen us increase our fleet, equipment, and services that we offer to our clients. By teaming up with Broadnet Systems, we can now take that extra step to ensure we know where our staff are which decreases downtime and allows monitoring of our lone workers. Furthermore, using the integrated CAD system, this will allow us to be more productive in relation to our Critical Care, Frontline and PTS services. By integrating this innovative product and service, my staff can rest assured knowing that they can connect with the rest of the team, obtain clinical support and contact the management team at a click of a button”

Care Quality Commission registration
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. It monitors, assesses and inspects services to check that they provide safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care.
Providers carrying out regulated activities in England must be registered with the CQC, unless an exemption applies. This includes qualifying medical treatment and ambulance transport services. Providing a regulated activity without the required registration is an offence.

Ashton and his team are absolutely amazing! We’ve worked with them twice and on both occasions, the experience has been exceptional. Highly recommend them!
I needed help for a friend who had to be brought by ambulance from France to the UK. From the very first call to Ashton I felt we were in safe hands. Whilst I had struggled dealing with everything when in different countries to my friend, Ashton made a stressful situation stress-free! The transfer went smoothly and I was kept up to date along the journey. The patient has advised that his travel was comfortable and that he would recommend the company without hesitation
We had spoken to Ashton about transferring my 100 year old Mum from Hospital in Scotland to a nursing home in near St Albans. We could not confirm date however of discharge was confirmed at 4:30 pm for the following morning.Ashton went above and beyond to find a crew and ambulance for the next morning. The crew arrived on time and Jay and Kieran the crew were fantastic with Mum kept her entertained and comfortable and arrived at the new home well on time. I highly recommend AB Medical for this service.
Not a service I have had to use before but would definitely recommend. Really fast and efficient to get booked and really friendly professionally executed service at reasonable price
A B Medical services took my frail elderly mother up to the funeral of her daughter, not a fun day out. They were kind, considerate and gentle, consummately professional and efficient. Not having to worry about mama’s safety and wellbeing was a huge comfort for everyone. I cannot praise them highly enough.
I booked AB Medical to transport my housebound and very immobile Father to a day procedure hospital appointment. The team who arrived were wonderful (Benn and Debs) They made my father comfortable, chatting with him in the back of the ambulance and made his journey an enjoyable outing. When we arrived at the hospital, I did not expect the team to help me to the 8th Floor. The department is difficult to find, two sets of lifts were out of service, but the Team were in no hurry to leave, but to ensure my father arrived safely to his ward. On arrival, the hospital bed had a folded linen and not made up. Benn and Debs made themselves busy with making up the bed for my father, even a ‘turn down service’ of the corners of the sheets. As usual with appointments, they never run to time. I stayed in contact with Benn as we were now 1.5 hours after the scheduled collection. That was no problem for the team. They had a long drive home, but were only caring, and wanting to help. ‘All in a 12-hour day’s shift’ apparently. This service is great. Well organised, professional and the best team. Thank you, A B, Medical.
